In the late 1970s she began her film career and was in a handful additional French feature films, too. The following year she returned to the United States in pursuit of Hollywood. In Goodfellas she scored the highest success, and was even recognized by a number of the most prestigious award bodies including Academy Award. After working on feature films for some time then she was able to move on to television shows and enjoyed great success.
